Is it the breeding or feeding that makes a good horse?
It's the age-old question; which is more important? The only sensible answer is both! I might be a geneticist by training but here at FeedXL we think that feeding plays a vital role in the health, well-being and performance of your horses.
We just couldn't wait any longer, and couldn't keep you waiting any longer! FeedXL is now ready for use by Australian horse owners.
Rather than tell you here, check out the rest of our website and see for yourself on the Tour page how easy it is to enter your horses and start getting balanced diets. To see what others think, read their Testimonials and to find answers to your questions see the FAQ page.
For non-Australians, please be assured we're working on getting FeedXL to you as quickly as possible. If you wish to be kept informed, you can leave your details with us to be kept informed on when we release in your country. You'll find links to do this on our home page http://feedxl.com as well as on product and informational pages throughout the site.
You can save $1 a day feeding your horse a balanced diet
For this example we're using a 445kg Arabian gelding in training for endurance riding. He is an easy keeper, is in condition score 5, and we want to maintain that weight while he's in heavy work. All the calculations for his requirements and how well the diet meets his requirements have been done with FeedXL. We've added the costs to it to show how several diets can all meet his requirements, but how you can still save money.
